As an artist, I like to let my work speak for itself. Drawing on my life experiences, I find myself trusting to intuition while composing each piece, often with only half an idea about how the final piece will play out. Of course, each completed painting means something to me, but I wouldn't want that to get in the way of what it might mean to others. I consider my method quite organic, a combination of primitive brush strokes (in oils, acrylics or watercolours) and unorthodox colour selection. I'm less interested in photorealistic images than in suggestive, symbolic imagery -- "pictorial enigmas" is perhaps a good way of describing what I do. So let me invite you to explore my gallery and make of my curious compositions what you will.
Open for calls during these times.
